Dr. Koerth (like earth with a k) has been in the service of special education students for her entire 26 years of public education. She has worked with all level students in all disability areas.

Her philosophy is that all students can succeed if given the right tools and supports.

Who is Dr. Koerth?

Dr. Stacie Koerth is a product of public schools in Austin Texas. She obtained her Bachelors degree in education from St. Edwards University. She worked as a special education teacher in the areas of reading, writing, science, social studies and life skills.

She received her master’s degree in School Administration from Concordia University, Austin. She continued to teach until she became a Science Specialist at the middle school level. She then became an Academic Dean and an Assistant Principal at the middle school level.

After serving as an Assistant Principal she became a Special Education Coordinator in Del Valle ISD. While in this role she obtained her Ed. D in transformational leadership.

She then became the Special Education Director in Hutto ISD.

Because Dr. Koerth has been in the educational system as a teacher and as an administrator, she has a unique perspective on what schools say they can do and what they can actually do.

She does not believe that an adversarial relationship needs to be created in order to get what is best for your student. Working together is the best way to solve all conflicts. This does not mean she will back down when the going gets tough, but rather remind schools what their responsibility is and how to meet the needs of your student.
